Exodus 4:2, God told Moses "What is that in your hand?" Moses who was about to return to Egypt was asked by God, what was in his hand, and he replied that it was a staff. God then commended Moses to throw it on the ground, where it turn to be a snake.
The Exchange: God asked Moses the question to demonstrate His power through the ordinary staff in Moses's hand which then transformed into something different.
Here we learn that your miracle is not on heaven or far from you. you walk with it, you sleep with it. what you lack is the voice of the Lord to revel it to you.
